A few days have passed since I last heard the call of, "Who wants to make some SLIME?" from the Mad Science booth, the tunes of Tom Petty's "Learning to Fly" from the Lego Rock Band demo, or "The Wheels on the Bus" from the stage in the southeast corner of the hall. The floor of my living room is covered in Lego parts- some assembled as part of the display, some loose from our party at Lego HQ. I'm almost caught up on my sleep although I'm still sore from all the standing, crawling, bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and crouching I did over the weekend.
We hit the capacity limit (~10,000) on Saturday and shut down Hartford and the area highways with people trying to get to the show. I estimate we had over 20,000 attendees. I got to see upcoming sets (new helmets on the ARC-170!) and Varszegi's Venator.
I had a great time and hope to participate next year in the second annual Lego KidsFest.
